 My first milestone project this semester has been cut out, and I am fairly satisfied with the results!    The outcome resulted in a mostly perfect cut aside from a minor failure on one of the first cuts just not cutting all the way through, not something that ruins the design, but it could be a concern if the material 100% requires perforations that need to be the proper size.  I have yet to fold the project as of writing up to this point, but I intend to update this post after I do end up folding it.

 This new project is to design an original clock design. Specifically this week was to sketch out 6-8 designs of clocks, which I personally kind of struggled through the latter half of these designs. I included the actual times that the designs are telling to better express how the designs are intended to function.  Some of the designs (specifically 3, 5, and 7) I find are very traditional in their designs and are probably the simplest to design and create. There are some that are close to a traditional clock design (1, 4, and 6) but due to some changes in the mechanics of the designs I believe they'd be very interesting to explore how to make these functional. Finally, there's the group of designs (2, and 8) that I believe will be a significant challenge to create the mechanics of the clocks due to the designs being so far from a traditional clock design.
