OBDF 110 Coaster Complete!
Finally, my coaster design is finished, the laser cutting was a success, and the assembly of the parts was smooth and without many challenges. I chose to use plywood because it was already at my desired thickness and because I wanted to see how engraving it would turn out, also because I wanted to be able to make changes after cutting if necessary. The biggest challenge that I came across with this project was the assembly which I hadn't thought of when I was designing the coaster, it was very important that I had all the parts lined up properly so that I could weave the elastic cord through each petal. Thankfully the assembly wasn't too difficult with the offcuts being useful for making sure that the channel in the middle layer is properly spaced out to line up with the rest of the parts.
